Suzuki launched two new models in Japan for the 2002-year's program in March 2002, the TU250G Grasstracker and a larger version of the same model, the TU250GB Grasstracker BigBoy. As the model name TU250 reveals, the models have a lot in common with the street sports model TU250 Volty, but the design and the chassis are more suited for riding in the terrain. No, they are no offroad machines, at least no more than the early seveties' TS machines were.
Mechanically the models are almost identical, except for some details. The Bigboy model has a kick starter as well as an electric starter and has got larger wheels and tyres. Both models use the same frame and engine.
Even the design is more seventies than 21st century, personally I like the looks of the bikes and wouldn't mind using one when taking a spin to the beach or for shorter trips anywhere, they are rather cheap models. In Japan, that is. Unfortunatelly the models are not imported to Sweden. Probably the model is not sold in any countries outside Japan.
